CAMAS CAMP 2024 (IGN) - Tote Bag [Client]
Tote bags designed for an organization, Vesper Meadows based in Southern Oregon. They work with many different organizations, volunteers, and indigenous partners to restore native ecosystems. They also partner with Indigenous Gardens Network where they restore native foods and provide spaces and a land for indigenous groups to practice their traditions. The design of the tote bag shows imagery of native plants, grasses, and species. The Camas plant is traditionally gathered, cooked, processed, and eaten by indigenous peoples of the region (Takelma, Cow Creek Umpqua, Modoc, Shasta) and all over Oregon. The design also shows the native Vesper Sparrow, and Mardon Skipper Butterfly.
